Noah and the Rainbow

Noah’s story is told in the book of Genesis. Noah was a good man who loved to do what God asked him to even when others would not. Because Noah was a good man, God told Noah to build an Ark that would house his family and two of each animal in the world. God was going to destroy the world by a flood. Noah did as God asked him even though others made fun of him. When Noah had his family and the animals on the ark and locked the door, God made it rain for 40 days and 40 nights and everyone and everything that was not on the Ark was destroyed. After the 40 days and nights, God let the waters stop and told Noah and his family to go out and populate the earth. God sent a rainbow as an agreement with man that He would never destroy the world again by flood.

Genesis Chapters 6 though 9 tells the story of Noah.

MONTHLY MESSAGE

Romans: 5:11 - And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

What is one word that best describes Jesus in our life? And, how can we remember what He means to us? That one word is:

JOY

You can remember how to spell joy by saying:

Jesus Only You

Take this joy where ever you go and remember that it is Jesus who brings you joy. If you need to say a prayer and can’t think of what to say, say Jesus only you bring me joy. Thank you, Jesus for your joy. In your name I pray, Amen.
